Marie Bjerre is a Danish lawyer and politician, and has been a member of the Folketing for the Liberal Party since 2019. Marie was appointed minister in December 2022 as Minister of Digitalization and Minister for Gender Equality. Marie Bjerre is currently the Danish Minister for Europe.
Poul Nyrup Rasmussen will introduce how ‘Headspace’ helps young people with mental issues. Young people who feel alone and lost in life with no hope for recovery or hope for a future.
Inner Wheel Denmark collaborates with ‘Headspace’ these years and donate money to The Social Netwerk - ‘Headspace’ from our annual fee payed from all Danish Members.
Sissy Avergerinou will involve the audience in evidence-Based Ideas to Increase Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in our organization
Maya Bjørnsten speakes about her carrier as a designer and assistant to mother nature, how she uses rough uncut diamonds in her beatyful and unik luxury jewellery, made for women and men all over the world.
She enlightens us in her work process, finding, buying and designing in a sustainability proces.
Since 2018 Maya has been funding a unik school project in a remote place in Zambia. By giving education to young pupils this gives hope for a brighter future.

Anita Meerdink will start with a short introduction of what OtW is. Violence against women and girls is a global problem.
The United Nations Secretary-General launched in 2008 the campaign UNiTE by 2030 to End Violence against Women. From 25 November to 10 December every year, UNiTE calls on people everywhere to wear the colour orange and take action to end violence against women and girls in communities, at home, in public spaces, in schools and workplaces, during conflict and in times of peace.
Anita Meerdink will talk about and discuss with the members how Inner Wheel clubs locally can get involved in the global project.

In our clubs, do we live by these lovely words in reality, or how can we make them a reality?

Sophie Nordentoft will introduce us to her import of bags made in Madagaskar through her compagny ‘Madam Græskar”.
Inner Wheel Denmark contribute to her project in buying and selling Madagaskar bags and by donating the income to other projects related to help women and children in Denmark.
This project could perhaps be expanded to other countries in Scandinavia or other countries of interest by European Inner Wheel Clubs.

Tina Friis Hansen will speak of her career in the UN and her involvement in helping people in need involving Diversity – Inclusion – Integrity in a multicultural and in an international context.
